About Coach Piocquidio

After being a basketball player most of her youth, GiGi didn’t start playing lacrosse until her sophomore year of high school. After helping Blackhawk Girls Lacrosse to it’s first WPIAL title in school history in 2016, she earned a starting position on defense at Division II, Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She knew she needed to earn her spot and hadn’t played as long as her teammates at the collegiate level, and believes strongly she earned her spot because she not only set out to work harder than the girl next to her – she followed up on that plan with action. IUP was a nationally ranked NCAA program for three of her four year tenure.

GiGi graduated with a degree in Communication Media Marketing and is currently working Inside Sales at Abarta Coca-Cola.
